I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), Canada. I am fluent in English and Italian and I can speak functional Spanish. I offer in-person and virtual psychotherapy and counselling services for individuals, couples and families.
My practice is informed by my experience working with adults, youth, couples and families in a variety of settings such as group homes, community mental health agencies and private practice. With over 9 years of experience in psychotherapy and extensive training, I aim to co-create a new story with my clients so they can embrace healing and restoration.
Having worked as a retailer, social worker, communication officer, and freelance journalist, I have a diverse background. I completed my undergraduate degree in Philosophy at The University of Milan in Italy and hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Counselling from Tyndale University in Toronto, Canada.
In my own life experience, I have learned two fundamental things that support my work.
First, I believe in the healing power of an authentic human connection. Second, through my travels and life transition from Italy to Canada, I learned that at the core of any transition is a quest to focus our attention on our life stories and see ourselves as the active protagonists of these stories.
I believe we are not called to this journey alone and there are times in our lives when we may need to reach out for help.
Being Italian and having lived in Toronto for over 12 years has given me the opportunity to understand the challenges of becoming immersed in a new culture. Therefore, I am passionate in supporting people who deal with similar challenges.
